We met eight years ago in beautiful Upstate New York. Max had just moved to Troy to start working at Vicarious Visions, and Anita had just returned to Albany from traveling around Asia to start graduate school. It was clear from our first date that something special was brewing! Our first date quickly led to a second, third, and more. Trips to Burlington, VT, and Colorado in the first few months proved our budding romance was destined to bloom into something bigger! Countless coffee dates, hikes in the Adirondacks, delicious dinners, and a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Norway and Sweden made way to the “cozy” COVID year. It was clear to both of us at this point that we were going to get married. But first, we needed to make sure we wouldn’t kill each other, so we moved in together in a cute little Cohoes cottage. Not only did we both survive, but we thrived! After 8 months in Cohoes, we decided a change was needed. Break out the cowboy boots and ten-gallon hats, Austin, TX, was calling! Four years, one engagement ring, and one scruffy pup later, it’s time to put a bow on things! We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone and hope to see y’all in October!
